Oct 9-16 – Found Art Juried Exhibition

Our Found Art Juried Exhibition is on display at the Ringwood Manor Barn Gallery starting Saturday,
October 9 through Sunday, October 16, 2021. Along with Kate Dodd’s outdoor
installation, “Understory,” it will serve as a visually impactful reminder of the effect each
of us has on our environment. The challenge to artists was to highlight themes of
reusing, repurposing, reclaiming, and reimagining what we throw away.

The program for this exhibit can is below and can be downloaded HERE.

Found Art Workshop with Artist Kate Dodd – 10/9/21

Join us for an Installation Workshop this Saturday, October 9, from 2:00 PM–4:00 PM!
Led by Artist Kate Dodd, participants in this 2-hour workshop will gain hands-on experience building smaller portions of a larger art installation as a team using repurposed materials. Together, we will reexamine institutional and conventional notions of architecture, used objects, and their relationship to the environment.

Part of the Found Art Project, a collaboration between the Sustainable Ringwood Green Team and Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts, this opportunity is open to people of all ages and artistic abilities. Admission is FREE, and drop-in participants and spectators are welcome, but it is recommended that you plan to be there for the full two hours to reap the maximum benefits of the workshop.

Please note that large portions of the workshop will take place outdoors and that masks are required inside the RMAA Barn Gallery and outside when social distancing cannot be maintained.
