For over 40 years, the Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts (RMAA) has been hosting our annual Young Artist Expo at the Carriage Barn Gallery in Ringwood State Park. Unfortunately, this is not possible again this year due to the Carriage Barn’s condition.
We hope you will join us for this virtual event to celebrate Young Artists and their creativity. Our student artists can enter from the comfort of their homes. (Teachers are still welcome to enter on their behalf.)
Any Young Artists (Grades 4-12) can submit photos of their artwork at NO CHARGE. The entry period runs thru 10:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
Once all entries are received, our Judge will then choose a Best in Show and Awards for each grade. Winners will be announced no later than Saturday, June 10th. Awards and prizes can be picked up at the Carriage Barn Saturday, June 17th, from 1pm-3pm.
The Best in Show will be awarded $100.
-1st Place Grade Level winners will receive either a gift card or art supplies.
-All winners will receive an RMAA Award Certificate.
-Additional prizes of art supplies will be awarded in Grades 4-8.
-One award per student.
Viewer’s Choice Awards
There will also be Viewer’s Choice Awards. Artists are asked to have their friends, relatives, and co-workers go to the contest website and vote for their artwork. Votes are $1 each. The top 3 vote-getters will receive gift cards to Jerry’s Artarama and an RMAA Award certificate. Gift cards will be awarded as follows:
-1st Place- $75
-2nd Place- $50
-3rd Place- $25
We hope you will help support our Young Artists and the RMAA if you can. All Donations collected through the voting process will be used solely to fund this, and hopefully future, Young Artist Expos and student awards. We are extremely grateful for your continued support of this program.
This program is made possible in part by a grant administered by the Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council from funds granted by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
